So here it is in a nutshell: Effective immediately, Hard Volume Records is now HARD VOLUME DISTRIBUTION. What does that mean?

It means that instead of begging and pleading with major distributors to carry our product, instead of asking constantly to be invited to the party, we will throw the party OURSELVES.

Backstory: I've spent a great deal of time over the past 12 months talking to major and minor labels, distributors and retailers. Folks in NY, Chicago, and Florida who have the leverage and the size and the rep and the CASH to get the music Hard Volume carries in the faces of people who will dig it. And here's what I hear over and over and over and OVER:

"DAMN, these bands are incredible, Joe. Shame you guys are so small."

Size, friends, apparently matters. Despite what we boys hear from you ladies :-)
